I cannot find where to download the update on the web site? I've checked ppc updates but it is not there.
The link to edit speed limiter will only show up if you have PPC boot 1.06 or higher.
If you are unsure write on BSR support with your PPC number and we'll check ;)

How to do:
1. Log in to http://www.bsrab.se/ppc/ and go to Speed limit page.
2. Select the limit of your choice.
3. Synchronize your PPC via the Internet. (use the program PPC Sync)
4. Program your car (either with tuned software or orig.)
5. Speed limiter is now set.
PPC Boot number you can see when PPC starts.

We do the update for free, and we send it back to you for free.
You have to pay for shipping it to us.

Use this page before sending any PPC:
http://en.bsrab.se/return/
You will get an e-mail back with a return number that you write on a note with the PPC.

Fortyb,

You should have the right version. I received the instructions and link via email, I also bought my PPC before you did. Let me know how it works out. Being in Germany you can benefit from the upgrade legally.

Kudos to BSR - 270km/h is about 160mph or so - chances are only a few if any will ever hit it - but I've dogged BSR for not removing it and now they have so well done - I'll be looking at a PPC this summer for sure unless I go with AWD - looking doubtful as I have been very happy with the 06 - Turbo X will probably be too expensive for me and I can't justify a new purchase for an extra 5hp and some cosmetic upgrades on the normal Aero

So, what is the speed limited to on my US-spec '06 9-3 Aero?

Regardless, I think I will update my PPC in case the get the chance to test it. :D

Sure - just give them your old one plus about $1k!!!

Seriously, I'd ask them (BSR or the place you bought it from) but odds are you won't get anything for it.

I know this won't work with the PPC V1. Is it possible to somehow exchange the entire PPC unit for the newer one?

We will do this update for free, but you have to send PPC to us.
In that case use this form: http://www.bsrab.se/return/

There you go - your answer is yes.
