I got new rotors and pads put on a few weeks ago, and every time i brake, once i get down to very low speeds i get a horrendously loud squeal.. its been there for about a week now. Anyone have any luck with any certain brake cleaners or should I go further than that..

Seth, were the pads professionally installed ?

A anti-squeak paste should be used on the back of the pads to prevent this.
Many installers use nothing, including me(in the past) in hundreds of "brake jobs".
But now there are substances on the markets that are generally effective.
Also, new pads and rotors should be "roughed up" with 36 grit.
Sharp edges must be lightly chamfered..
There is a lot of detail to this procedure ,which the best of pros know about...
And there must be a hundred threads on this subject...from hundreds of forums ; and the answers are the same....

Yeah they were installed by my shop but something tells me they just slapped them on, although when i took my strut out the other day there was alot of grease in the caliper and surrounding areas so i dont know.. I am going to try some anti squeal spray and go from there.. couldnt hurt.
