Hi there,

I was doing the brake pads on my recently accquired 9-5 Aero Wagon M00 the other day and I noticed the pads that I had were not the correct ones, my buddy who works in a parts dept in a mazda dealer, picked them up for me and he was asked what size disks, he said the 308mm disks which is what you'd expect an aero to have?

Anyway the pads did not seem to be the same shape as the existing ones, just wondering if my car has the hirsch brakes on it or something else... thats the only thing I can think of, unless of course the guy in the shop gave out the wrong parts, but I've had the part number cross referenced and it matches up... Bit snookered at the moment.

How can you tell?

Regards
Michael

Turned out the chap in the parts place gave out 9-3 brake pads instead....

If he'd have checked properly the first time it would have helped save me some time.

Yeah, all stock 9-5 have the same brake pads up front, even the different sized rotors use the same pads.
