Just replaced brake master cylinder, all seemed to go well. Yet after bleeding all brakes noticed a puddle of brake fluid dripped down into the passenger (right hand drive) footwell. Also the booster sounded very wet and bubbly in operation (during bleeding phase) - even if now it has quietened down and sounds airy and good. Brakes perform beautifully otherwise.

Should I put this down to expelled collected fluid from the old leaking master cylinder and nothing to worry about? The leak seems to have dried up. Or do I need to look at replacing the booster now too? Can they cope with a bit of brake fluid sloshing around, and will it eventually 'go away' (?) now its source has been fixed (!), or does it eventually spell ruination?

Once I had brakes go out, thought it was a line so changed it. I put a litre of brake fluid and yet the reservoir still went empty. turned out the line in the LH side of the car burst inside and was dumping the brake fluid into the carpet underlay. Tasty!

I think your diagnosis is probably correct and it just some residue from the swap. Just keep chesking the resevoir level for piece of mind.
