Just replaced brake master cylinder, all seemed to go well. Yet after bleeding all brakes noticed a puddle of brake fluid dripped down into the passenger (right hand drive) footwell. Also the booster sounded very wet and bubbly in operation (during bleeding phase) - even if now it has quietened down and sounds airy and good. Brakes perform beautifully otherwise.
Should I put this down to expelled collected fluid from the old leaking master cylinder and nothing to worry about? The leak seems to have dried up. Or do I need to look at replacing the booster now too? Can they cope with a bit of brake fluid sloshing around, and will it eventually 'go away' (?) now its source has been fixed (!), or does it eventually spell ruination?
