Please confirm that I am crazy, the BPV is leaking, or other.

I removed the tube running from the BPV to the intake pipe and plugged the intake side. I noticed, however, that at idle there is air coming out of the BPV. It should most certainly not be leaking air at idle, correct?

The thing that would make me think otherwise is that it appears to hold boost (I don't have a gauge yet installed, but it's on the docket).

Car: 97 900 SET CV, 101K miles.

the same thing happened to my car, when i did the same thing, it always lets a little air out and seems like it is leaking, the best thing to do if you want to run a free bov, instead of spending the 150 bucks for a forge bpv order the filter that attaches the stock bpv on genuinesaab to run a free bov...

there shouldn't be any leakage at idle. and it definitely shouldn't feel stronger when you're on boost, until you let off the accelerator.

What exactly is "it" in this reference?

I do sincerely appreciate all the input on this, Ryan and Mike.
