Ok Gents the light of my drive life my 9-5 has not stopped amazing me since I got it some 8 weeks ago.
It is a pre-owned and loved 2.3 deep green with light beige leather.

Mind you I think I need a degree in heat eng to set up the heater lol.

Anyways to my question.......
I had noticed that when I opened the boot [trunk] in the night it was un-lit.
I thought for such a fab car that was odd not to have a light in there but I could not see one anywhere.

Well to day I was doing some work and found that there is one in there set into the top under the rear shelf.
How is that activated just by opening it or do I need ignition/lights on.
Of course it just could be that the bulb has blown but a quick look in my hand book hasn't revealed anything.

I'll have another look over a cuppa butr if you know and can help.........

Thanks

Like the interior lights operate with the doors it should just come on with the opening of the boot.

Check the bulb first, after that I wonder if the boot wiring is the problem. The flexible rubber pipe leading from boot to body often seems to have problems with broken wires etc.
