Boot handle

Got home from work tonight went to open the boot (hatch back) and the handle broke. is it possible to open the boot from the inside? if so how?

you will have to remove the black panel and then get a torch look up inside and you should see a 3mm rod which comes down from the lever to the lock mechanism get some pliers?? and pull it up till it opens( or just pull parcel shelf out for now to get stuff out of the boot( more difficult if 4 door)
