I have my blower motor apart. I've cleaner and oiled it, but I'm wondering if it still has too much rotational resistance. How freely should the impeller turn?

If it's notchy, I think that's normal since even on a new motor you'll feel the brushes rubbing the commutator and it won't be a smooth rotation.

If u have an amp-clamp, run the motor with straight 12 volts or through the car at max speed and measure current (if it exceeds 30A, then its in the way out)
