I'm going away for a few days and my car will be sitting. I'm used to starting it everyday or so. Do I need to disconnect the battery to prevent it from draining? Or is it okay for 5 days? Someones it seems like its a bit hesitant to crank up. I'd hate to deal with the code for the radio again though.

it shouldn't go dead, my car sits sometimes for weeks and fires right up.

As long as you have a good battery it should be fine. You can throw a charger on it when you get back but it shouldn't be necessary.

it all depends on the state of the battery. even if you disconnect it, if its an old battery and needs regular juicing it still wont crank. make sure the battery is topped off with water.
