I received my Autoweek yesterday and it discusses the Saab 9-3 and its upcoming v-6 engine. They confirm in the article that the Linear and the 2.0t engine will be leaving us for the 2006 model year. It was late at night when I read the story so I will have to read it again for any of the other details.

We kind of lose the Linear in name only.......There will be two models, the 9.3 and the 9.3 Aero. The 9.3 will only come with the 210 hp engine, you can then add packages to it to make it like an Arc otherwise without the packages it will be similar to todays Linear.
