I have only owned this car about 5 months.
From the beginning it seems to hold in top gear even when we are only doing about 1500rpm at say about 35kph.

I have not checked anywhere else yet to see if this is some kind of kick down adjustment or some other issue.

When I changed the trans fluid it was a horrible colour - dark.
It needs another flush or two to get it right- it has 130000km on it.

Hi Rawill. Mine did that so I flushed and changed a couple of times and its shifting became more perky. There is a kickdown bar attached to the throttle sector ,dont know anything about adjusting it though. by the way do you want the whole engine loom or just the ecu connector with about a foot of wires attached to it?

No I do not know if that has been done - but I would be very surprised if that had been done. This car is x Singapore and the previous NZ owner did not do much maintenance. All I have done is flush the trans fluid with 8 litres.
