First, the audio problem:

the front (dashboard) speakers in my '00 work very occasionally. It seems they work more often in warm weather. I've checked the connection on the speaker side, and its all good. I havent pulled the stereo console to check that side because I dont have my "stereo code." Any ideas?

As for the key problem PSA:
I was having a problem where my ignition wouldn't turn unless i jiggled the key a ton, sometimes for over 20 minutes. The guys at the shop told me to stick my electric toothbrush (just the metal bit) in the ignition and turn it on. worked like a charm. hope this helps some peeps.

Vibrations?
Not conducive to long life, that and the UV rays from our sun.
Solution?
New speakers.

Vibrations?
Seems strange, but as long as its effective.
I use a lubricant, Lock-Ease, every so often.
Solution?
Drink water, rather than cola.
