Just changed the ATF in the 900s and it's still a little dark.How many changes untill all of the old fluid is replaced.

Well how did you change it? Do you know that the torque converter holds the majority of the oil? you can't get the oil out of the converter unless you do an ATF flush buy using an AFT flushing machine.

Quantity of changes for a complete ATF change = infinity

Realistically, about three. Better cars used to have a torque converter drain plug.
One of these days the better dealers and shops will have a machine to suck out and restore the ATF; there is a machine for coolant now.

I'm not sure what the documentated number is, but I usually do the old smell and color check of the fluid to decide when to do it. New ATF fluid is transparent blood red. If the tranmission fluid is brown, or smells burnt, then its time to change.
