I haven't heard of him.. but it's worth noting that you'll have to send him your ECU to tune, you won't be able to buy a pre-tuned one for a 9-3 (T8 ECU).

You can only do this with cars that use the T7 ECU (9-5, older shape 9-3).

Brew City Boost is in Milwaukee. I'd say that is the closest. Not a whole lot of tuners to chose from.

rabbit, bsr, vtuner, nordic, maptun and there is another dude posting on the classifieds here.

While not a dozen, enough options for a defunct brand. Not bad IMO, especially 5 years ago when I first got mine, there was only BSR and Nordic

He does Trionic tunes as his name (saabtunerscott) implies:

You're bidding on a replacement ECU for your Saab 9-3 or 9-5 vehicle. Check compatibility in this posting for models available. If you've got a damaged or defective ECU I can program and deliver you a replacement factory ECU with the latest updates. Don't bother buying a used one that will need to have expensive dealer work to get it paired to your car.

Please note that this auction is for a stock configuration. If you'd like to add general performance enhancements please see my other listing.
Here is one of his other listings. Note it is for T7. Here is one for T5 ECUs that is pre-programmed by him to permit the switch to a T7 boost pressure control valve. It appears he does NOT tune for T8 as I can find no listing where he offers T8 upgrades.

You are correct, his other stuff for is staged tuning for much more money.

Find a shop that works out of a brick and mortar like Vtuner or MikeB and have been know members of the community for some years.

I'll personally vouch for having met Brian of Vtuner and Mike B and have had some nice conversations with Nick T and John Z.
