Thinking about a bit more grip for the driver and co-pilot up front....

I have a set of Recaro's out of my old 9k aero... thinking, new/used black leather skins.. or

Going custom like the whole frankenstein beast has turned into and getting a set of Seats up front...

Goal: Sub $1000 comfort for driver and passenger

I dont have to have motor adjustment...

I set it and forget it... no one else has ever driven my car... 60k miles and counting... Call me selfish,unforgiving or concerned if you will


I need some suggestions if anyone else is running different seats..even 2004 aero front used set of seats is $550 plus shipping

I don't remember what year Aero you have but I had 02' seats in my 00'. But what about some later model Aero seats in your car? Like 06' and up.

I remember that i saw here in this Forum one guy that have Evo 9 Seats in his Aero.

Looks very hot!

I would like to make this, too.

But it have to be in Leather and Seat Heater.

If you get the 9000 aero seats you will loose the side airbags. Honestly, get 2002+ all leather bolstered seats, and have at least the front dash nappa-leather done. That all should bring the interior up a lot.

It must be impossible to find Viggen seats, they look sooo comfy.

I would be hesitant as you would lose the heating/cooling/ventilated function and for what? Sport seats in a not-very-sporty FWD touring sedan?

Ask saabstuff.com for connolly leather seats. That´s the leather rolls-royce uses. Top quality.

For the $900+ that saabstuff wants to recover my aero seats... Probably going to find some mint leather recaro's out of a porsche or something... or just save up for some milano prestige in black leather....

A bit away... some more fuel to be had... E85 and such so I'll keep you posted...

I am having my front dash, the door pulls, the door glove boxes, the doors lower part and the center console all nappa leather done. It reallly brings up the interior much more than anything i´ve seen before. And it costs like 300$ all in material. Definitely worth it. After that, all leather +2002 bolstered seats. Keep us updated.
