The NG900 unit isnt an LSD at all. It's basically a "mini spool" that acts as a locked differential. It's fine for drag racing or rally driving, but it would eat your tires on regular roads because the inside wheel would spin as fast as the outside. You'd be scrubbing off rubber at every turn. There's another issue: it can't do the same kind of torque biasing as a Quaife or a Sellholm. Each wheel will have the same amount of torque. So if you're going around a corner with, say, a puddle or black ice in the inside by the curb, the inside wheel will lose traction and the outside wheel will want to take the car out toward the guardrail. And then you'll be needing a new set of underwear.
