So tomorrow i was thinking of deleting the rear two mufflers on my 2.8. I deleted the resonator last year liked the increase in sound yet want a little more. Heard some clips of another saab with muffler deletes didn't sound to bad. Wondering what people think about this idea...

if you dont like it, buy some aftermarket mufflers and put them on.

that the best way to do it...

Cut the muffler... go take a small ride... then you will see that the car will be a bit too loud and sound will be not that good... then you will buy 2 mufflers to replace the oem one...

I am thinking about getting the resonator swapped out for now....cash is tight.

Did it greatly increase the sound, or just a little? And did it add drone in the cabin at highway speeds?

Finally, did it change the exhaust note, or just make it a bit louder?

I know this is all a bit hard to quantify, but I am curious for your thoughts as most 2.8 owners that posted feedback have done aftermarket mufflers, or taken the back boxes out altogether....
