I taught the local boy scout troop last night about car maintenance, and made a game of identifying different fluids. What a nice colorful cocktail these make!

There is an ATF and a GM MTF fluid in there (Darker read is the GM MTF Fluid)



What two additional fluids did I miss (one of them is the one we have most interaction with)?

I explained to the boys that there are variations in fluid colors, and how to check the owners manual for proper fluid types. Some power steering fluid is clear, multiple colors of coolant as well. I've even had blue motor oil!


I thought this pretty well represented all the fluids that are in a car with the exception of the two which I did not have on hand.



Can you think of any others?

Is that DEF at the end? I don't see any hydraulic fluid (CHF, et al) which is increasingly common for suspension. Is there a gear oil present? Is there a liquid byproduct of cash?
