Hi all,
I'm upgrading the sound system in my 2003 9-5 Aero wagon. There's so much room in this car! I yanked out the SAAB Park Assist control units, and now I have this relatively flat area between the rear seats and the depression for the spare tire where I'd like to mount my two amps. See the attached image. I like the idea that they'd be sitting on the frame of the car for a bit of a heat sink effect.
Am I going to hit anything critical if I penetrate this surface by about 3/8"-1/2" (9mm -12mm)? I think the fuel tank is further forward under the rear seats, correct?
Thanks for any input!
