ola, newbie here, I'm restoring a 1966 Saab 96 ground-up and looking for alternative front seats that will look reasonably period (whatever that means) yet they need to have good back and side supports. Railing doesn't matter as long as the seats fit in right away without fooling anything on the sides. They don't need to be Saab but should be available at reasonable cost considering that they will be re-upholstered anyways.
Any popular mod ?

Just a thought but what about older Volkswagen Beetle seats.
