Hi,

I've just bought another Saab, a 97 NG900 SE convertible. Really must consider buying another make of car some day..... nah, who am I kidding. My 5th which isn't that bad I suppose compared to some of you guys.

Anyway, my new friend needs a little TLC having sat around on the previous owners drive for 6 months while he played with his new model (a car that is).

Among the many jobs is the alloy wheels - the actual alloy is fine so don't need a full refurb, but the covers in the middle are flaking badly. I thought it'd be easy top track down some spray paint but obviously not. I don't mind if the match isn't perfect. Any suggestions?

I searched for this once and found a thread that talked about...

Duplicolor Wheel Paint - Silver
Wurth Silver Wheel Lacquer
Honda Arctic Silver

I couldnt find any of the above locally... so i bought regular Duplicolor Silver, and its pretty good.
I post some before / after pics tomorrow.

:)

Oops... i just realised ur on the other side of the pond... hopefully you will find something similar.

Thanks for that - did a quick search and though I couldn't find the first one the bottom two are both available easily enough - cheers.
