Hi all I have been driving the 92 9000 that I recently purchased and it seems to operate fine. The vehicle was in an accident on the passenger side and I had to disconnect a couple of items, the windshield wash and the charcoal filtering system that went into the intake. Anyways I purchased the car for my 16 son to drive around town so it should, maybe, I hope be ok. My question is after I put a new battery in the car the alarm went off, and I shut it off at the driver’s door. However, now the alarm does not seem to work. I thought it could be from the impact of the wreck. I tried going from the neutral position on the key to unlock three times, but that did not fix it. Is there another way to test the alarm? My kid thinks these alarms are pretty cool.

Roll down the window, lock the car, wait thirty seconds, reach in the window and unlock the door that way and then open the door. If the alarm works, it'll go off.
