Hello,

please can anyone help.

I have been getting the engine management warning light on the dashboard on my2000 95. Took it to the local garage and it was the air temp sensor via the Tech 2. He reset it and it lasted about a week and came back. It came on for a few days and then went off. It stays on most of the time and then goes off for a bit. Is this something anyone else has had, and is there a simple solution? I don't seem to have any performance issues from it but still, don't like the fact there is a error light on. My garage who specialise in Saabs / Volvos did say that he had seen a 95 with this before and seems to think it may be the wiring connection block behind the throttle body, but not sure!

Any help is greatly appreciated....

Thanks.

Can you get us the fault code for a definitive answer? It could be the inlet air temp sensor on the inlet pipe or could be the MAF sensor that measures the air/fuel % mix. Either way i'm like yourself and wouldn't be comfortable with a CEL showing on the dash.
