As many of us, I am having problems with 7-speaker audio system within my 2003 Arc Sedan. The dealer cannot determine what is wrong - if the head unit or the under-seat amplifier, but probably it's the amp.
Anyway, instead of buying new AMP1, I am thinking about replacing all the stock Pioneer-MOST components and the head unit with some aftermarket DIN-sized radio and some amplifiers.
And some questions:
1. has anybody done this / tried to do this?
2. does anybody manufacture DIN-radio mounting kit?
3. is there anything I should know and you think I do not know?
