After 7 years of ownership I just sold my 9-3 SS but.......I gained a new friend :)

I will truly miss my 2007 60th Anny SS but it just hit 194k miles, the transmission still had its torque converter solenoid issue for 2 years now and was just starting to show some age to the exterior but still looked great for 13 years old and 194k.miles.

So while I thought about moving to another brand car in the near future, it appears I'm still in the game LOL
We still have 2 other Saab at home too, my sons 07' 9-5 Aero and daugthers 02'9-3 SE convertible.

Here are a few pics of the 2007 Saab 9-3 60th Anniversary 2.0T, pics are from last week and show how clean it still looked.
Should be able to click and enlarge the thumbnails

And the new ride which is a 2008 9-3 Aero SportCombi
Maptun Stage 2, Maptun cat-back with carbon fiber tips, GS mid pipe, Maptun drop in filter, Bilstein Shocks/Struts with H&R Springs, Hirsch Dash and Shifter Surround, Griffin 18" wheels
I will continue to clean it up some more as I am very picky and do a few more things to make it my own.

New ride looks good! Did you buy it from someone in the New England area?

I thought I recognized the car! He followed my 2011 NG 9-5 Aero XWD up Mt Washington a couple of years ago. :)

Yup that be him!!! LOL, it's now in northern RI :)(y)(y)

I was conflicted....... I did want to keep my wheels but it would have made selling my SS that much more difficult I think.
They really set that car off nice. I did a quick photoshop with them on the SC and they looked good but not as good as they did on the SS I don't think. Will I keep the Griffin Turbines? Only time will tell lol

Really nice colour for the SportCombi and it's an Aero one, but I'm still thinking the design of the 2007 is better. I keep a pics of your old car in my wallpaper of Saab. Congrats!

Both of those car look great! I hope the SS went to a good home and the wagon is a beauty!
Thank you both, I do still love the pre-face as well. The 07' will forever be my favorite but I'm quickly growing to love the SportCombi.
The gentleman that bought my SS seemed to be a great guy with plans to continue to keep up with it and keep it nice.
I am happy for that but I do miss it already :(
