The cabin temperature sensor in my 89 9000 is making an intemittant clicking noise. I have been told that 1) it is dead 2) there is dirt in there and blowing it out with compressed air should fix it. It appears that the ACC is still working. It automatically picks the modes and adjusts the fan speed, etc.
So what does it look like when the sensor is dead? Will blasting it with compressed air help? I popped the cover and it looks clean at the tip.
What do you folks think?
