Havnt tried a kit :confused: However I just had mine re-charged and serviced at a local garage. They literally plug in the machine and it runs for about half an hour. Changes the oil, checks for leaks, refreshes and charges the gaz. Cost me £58.. inc :D Well chilly now :cheesy:

You can buy them from Halfrauds, about £35 IIRC. Not much gas in the little can they give you though. Most A/C specialists will do a recharge for about the £50 mark. There's an A/C firm in London called "Stiff Nipples"....:eek: :cheesy:

cheers gents I'll look into both options both cars are now in need. its quite likely the seals are gone. are these easy to repair and readily available.:roll:

I'm near Aberdeen so I think the stiff nipples option is out.:confused:

Hey thats a pound more than my guy, what a rip off :lol: I was so pleased when I got mine sorted, I just drove around with it on full icy blast for ages.. (Yeah I know simple things please.....)

Went in to get the gas recharged today, turns out I knew one of the guys from a previos job full system vac and fill of 875g of refrigerant for £40. Cool as a cucumber now:cheesy:
