Hi there, gone through the motions and got the ACC to diagnose and it came up with 2 error codes:
11 and 14, 14 I think is the reason why I cant direct airflow at anything but the windscreen.
I am looking for some one who has done/fixed this before to direct me on how to best do it, from the clicking I have a pretty bad feeling its going to be a motor and right up against the bulk head so any help on how to go about working on it is welcome.
These are the list of codes; sounds like you have a broken blend arm and possibly a bad stepping or fan motor. You have two on the passenger side and one on the drivers side and the fan motor is under the hood under the air inlet screen. Can you hear the fan motor when the ACC is on?
CODE ITEM 01 ACC internal fault 02 cabin temp sensor 03 solar sensor 04 left mixed air temp sensor 05 right mixed air temp sensor 06 left blend door 07 left blend door 08 left blend door 09 right blend door 10 right blend door 11 right blend door 12 air distribution motor 13 air distribution motor 14 air distribution motor 15 16 17 18 heater valve solenoid 19 heater circulation pump 20 control circuit blower 21 Recirculate motor 22 Reflash per SB 271-2206 23 control module sensor ground
Well, when the ACC does the diagnostic I can hear a clicking passenger side with my head under the glove box, never thought to stand outside so will go and test that out if I should be hearing a clicking there too ;ol;
You should hear the fan motor from inside the car; just put the AC fan on high if it's blowing air rule that out. If it needs to be replaced you will do that from outside.
Well, nothing wrong with the fans bar blowing all the air to the windscreen at all times.
So all work I have to do is in the cab!
Should be fun.
