So trying to remember when it happened and what could've let to it..

It started on my most recent trip, it was starting to gain temperature when sitting at a still in highway traffic.

But if I turned my ac off, it would bring the temp back down..

I have a new valve cover gasket, ignition coils, and spark plugs coming in, as far as problems go that is it. (Misfiring pretty bad)

So is my ac compressor on the way out? It was making kind of a loud whining noise when I would turn my ac on, but ac blew cold so I ignored it..

Thanks for any input!

More indicative of your cooling fans or radiator.

The A/C Condenser in front of the radiator produces quite a bit of heat. That hot air goes through the radiator to cool the engine.

If the radiator is partially scaled or blocked, the hot air cannot pull enough heat from the water flowing through the radiator to adequately cool the engine.

Also, if the A/C cooling fan(s) are not kicking in, there will not be enough air pulled through to cool the radiator and thusly the engine.

Thanks for the time in your response..

I see now, that does make sense.. I think I noticed that the coolant was looking low, I'll keep an eye on it and see if i cant find a leak if there is..
