Hi,

I firsts purchased the lever with the shaft because i wrongly assumed that my blend shaft was broken.
Onced I checked, I saw that it was just the lever arm.
So i purchased the new aluminium lever with out the shaft and installed it.
I ran the diagnostic and the ac still reads code 08!!!

So this leads me to my question. Does the stepper motor shaft turn when not installed in the lever? Because i ran the Diag. to see if maybe the motor was the problem.

The shaft wasn't turning, but i definitely heard the motor running.
so is the stepper motor my problem,or I am not installing the motor properly?

There have been some instances where the motor was separated from the gears so the motor turns but the gears don't. you can take the motor off and run the test again while looking at it to make sure that the shaft is turning.

people have reported that they were able to push the motor back into where it is supposed to be in the gear set and all was well.
