The last time I was at BBa reman the tech had told me it was a simple solder flow, so similar to the orange relay. He said it would be obvious on the board where the crack would be. Your up for a challenge, tear it appart.

Yeah, it's awful. Well, it probably wouldn't be that bad if you weren't being anal... I was using a utility knife to make the slightest cut possible. I bet BBA or MM etc just uses a Dremel or something. It's gonna get resealed etc. with silicone etc... Nobody is gonna see how surgical you were (or weren't).

I've never studied it. Is it sealed as in "plastic melted to plastic" ?
