Does anyone know what the most common reason why and where A/C refridgerant would leak from? Im guessing its an o-ring somewhere, but im hoping someone has had the same problem and had it fixed. Here in Italy, it is expensive to get the a/c checked. Its about 200 euro to check and then to refill and change out o-rings usually comes around to be 1500 euro. Im just looking for the most common place to check or replace the o-ring.

Mine had just failed, the leak was from the condenser line to the compressor.
It has a 90 degree turn and mine had rubbed against trans and wore a whole into it.
Not sure about Italy but in the US you can buy leak detector and put it into your system, red stuff will leak out of leak.
You would need the AC charging hose (costs around 13USD)
I know advance auto is not there but here is what you would or may need.

So if you can source these items locally you can save a lot. might be able to order by web somewhere in EU.

I am not recommending anyone of these or I am its just what I quickly found available to Italy on ebay.
shipping is a bit high for some but still way less expensive than 200 euros.
also if your system is empty you would need 20-30 ounces of R134a
