Driving home yesterday and the A/C failed on my 89 900S, little wisps of smoke from the pulley end of the compressor. Turned it off, drove home, no issue. Pulled the clutch off this morning as the pulley bearing is shot. The rest is probably serviceable, but if I can replace the whole assembly for a reasonable price it would be better, I think. The problem is I can't find a supplier. Anyone know if there's a source for these, or if there's an interchange with something more common? I'm pretty sure this is a Japanese compressor (the bearing is Japanese, which is often a clue).

Clutch kits usually come with the magnet, the disc, and the bearing; the pulley normally gets reused, though I've seen kits that come with it (these are general observations - I don't know what Saab's normal practice is/was). I can easily get the bearing, but the other bits are hard to find. Right now I just want to get it back together, so the bearing alone may have to do if I can't find the other stuff.
