At last my 99T is getting a bit of TLC. I am going to replace all the springs and shock absorbers, but I want to keep them as close to original equipment as possible. I am in contact with Malbrad as recommended in the 99 spares link, but anybody have any other suggestions of where to obtain bits, what is closest to OE etc?

*shrugs shoulders* :) I know Malbrad definitely had some of the last OEM Bilstein shocks, but I'm not sure who made the OEM turbo springs. I *think* it was Boge. I know you can get Boge lowering springs (as that's what I have on mine) but not sure on standard turbo spec ones.

Looking at the listings I *think* the 2 door turbo used the same springs as other saloon 99's. There are 3 rears - CK (combi coupe); CK EMS (and CK turbo presumedly ?); SN (saloon)

There is only 1 front spring for 1979-

If you want to try and get some sense out of the Sachs/Boge catalogue - http://webcat.zf-trading.com/index.asp?LKZ=D&PKW=1&SPR=4&EINSPNR=32,14,1632,1614
