Anyone have feedback on difficulty and problems trying to swap from an automatic transmission to a manual in my 1999 93 SE?

I've done a few things like this years ago but never on a Saab.

I've got a 97' 900 parts car with a manual transmission and would like to replace a slowly failing automatic.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

How crazy is this idea? Is it even possible?
