I have a 99 9-5 2.3L turbo LPT wagon with 120K miles. The engine had a slight tap when rebuilt @ about 110K and now has become a knock on rod #4 ( the bearings *were* changed out @ rebuild). This is most likely from oil starvation before the rebuild as there were many leaks. (That's what I get for not measuring the journals). Is there a reliable U.S. source for new or reground and respec'd cranks? My other option would be a short block, but again I'd be looking for a reliable source. Any ideas from those in the know would be appreciated.
