Whoah, you're definitely in the wrong category but your problem is probably something to do with the fuel line sender. If thats what it ends up being it is a pretty expensive fix so unless you're willing to spend around $400 just reset your trip each time you fill up. I hope everything works out well.:p

I read your post wrong, my apologies. I can't help with the speedometer problem but if the gas gauge goes from full to empty and stays on either or then it could be a fuel line sender problem. Post this in the appropriate category and I'm sure you'll get a lot more help!:)

The speedometer gets it's information from the ABS system. If the ABS is not in alarm, the problem is probably the instrument cluster. I replaced mine about 3 years ago because it wouldn't go over 35 mph and the turbo guage didn't work. I see them frequently on eBay for $50 or so.

As far as the fuel guage goes, look at the DTE in the SID. If it shows an accurate mpg reading, the fuel level sensor in the tank is probably good, and the problem is in the instrumemt cluster... Ron
