Hi guys -

Well, since I've registered my 97 900SE Turbo last week I have put about 750 miles on her and can safely say I am enjoying every minute of it - really wonderful car. I changed the pullies, serpentine belt, front brakes and rotors and did and oil change and the car runs great. I just hit 72,000 over the weekend.

I do have a question though - I had mentioned in an earlier post that I was getting a WHURRRING noise coming from what I believe is the blower motor. It only happens when the heat/ac is on and gets louder with accelleration or when I rev the engine.

Any ideas on this.

Thanks guys -

Perhaps is the compressor? Check around old posts for this issue. If the AC is on, chances are it is the compressor.

Could also be the cabin fan I'm guessing. Remember reading they go awry after a while.
Let us know when you nail it down.

Access your cabin filter and HVAC air intake plenum and , of course the elephant's nose. This drain valve may need cleaned.

Do the full service here if necessary
Sounds as if the filter is missing and some debris is caught in the fan..
