I just purchased a 93 Saab 9000 without a fuel pump in the car. The pervious owner had fuel supply problems and could not fix the issue. They tried several relays and fuses and did a great deal of testing. In their final analyses, they thought the wires going from the pump to the relay box on the drivers- side were either broken or were fuse wire. Anyways they gave up. I have not started working on the car yet, so I do not have any real questions. I am curious if there have been any similar posts or if anyone has a theory. On of the problems I am facing is they bought a new pump BUT because of the price(500.00) they did not offer the pump and they said they through the old one away. They claim they put the new one in a different car, so I am going to have to purchase one and hope I do not toast it?

Thanks in advance Steve
