Help!
I found a great deal on a 91 900S with only 123k on it ($300). The problem is that it runs rough, although the current owner replaced many things in an attempt to fix it. new O2 sensor, new cat, tune up, air mass meter, fuel injector o-rings, fuel pump, andnot sure what else (besides new brakes). Engine compression is good.
My first thought was maybe timing chain, or a distributor problem.
ANY input would be greatly appreciated, it seems like to good of a deal to pass up.

Thank You in advance,
Chris

Well for the price and for the things replaced alone you cant really go wrong. Can you be more specific about how its running rough?

I have yet to see the car, so I really don't have anymore details, yet.
Thanks for your help though.

hurry up and buy it.

I'm sure it will need a lot.

I bought a 200 dollar 88 turbo with a perfect body and interior with 105,000 miles BUT an automatic trans that only goes in reverse.

It was one of the best things I've ever done.

When you get a chance (or after you buy the car), pulling trouble codes will give you a place to start in figuring out the problem(s) with the engine :)
