Can someone remind me what engages the vacuum module to the plate inside a 16v distributor? I feel like it was a roll pin or a rivet or something, but I'm not sure that's right. I have a distributor in two parts and I just can't remember how they fit together.

Related, if it ever comes up, the screws around the body of a c900 distributor are M4-.07, about 6mm long.

Figured it out.. there is no positive mechanical connection here. Just a little round stub on the plate that the eyelet on the vacuum module slips over. I could have sworn there was a roll pin or something, but nope. Eh... whatever!

For some reason I cannot edit the first post, but in retrospect I think M4-0.7 x 8mm is a better size screw.

Yeah, that's why I originally said 6mm, but 6mm doesn't quite get full thread engagement. 8mm is a better fit, but you definitely want a short 8mm (7.5mm) and not a long 8mm (8.5mm). :D
