Hi,

I got a 97' 900s and I was wondering if it was possible to do a radio swap with one from a 9-3, one with a CD player. Just curious if any wire splicing is necessary, or more importantly not possible. I'm sure it should be, but just making sure.

Thanks, Dan

The NG900 (1994-1998) radios require just a 4-digit security code, but the OG9-3 (1999-2002, or 2003 for the verts) require marrying of the radio to the car. I don't think the OG9-3 radio is going to work... Ron

if this is the case just get an after market head unit. Mine cost me 100 quid lol ;ol;

A 9-3 radio definitely won't work, so go aftermarket like Markyboy75 said. It may not look quite as good, but you'll sure get a lot more features. I couldn't live without iPod control built into my radio.
