Hi Saab owners,

I currently have a 99' Saab 9-5 v6 3.0 Turbo, the check gearbox, check engine and exclamation light is LIT ON, I receive codes p1251 and p1260

The car starts fine, recent oil change, spark plugs, and all that.

The car is very sluggish, I shift to D and it struggles to move!..Sluggish...

Someone "mentioned" it was on Limp Home mode? if these are the symptoms, how can I reset it back? or is it something else?

Anyone experience this before?

if your car is in fact in LHM-here's how to reset it. make sure you clear the codes thou or the car will just go right back into LHM.

Need to clear codes with tech2 before resetting the throttle, google reset procedure. If it happens again within a week, replace throttle unit.

you dont need tech2. i just pulled the ECU fuse when i reset my TB and no problems.

right, or you can use a cheap OBD-II reader and get the added benefit of seeing what codes are present before you clear them.

i know. i was just letting him know. i dont have any extra money to spend on a obd reader. i have to go to autozone since they do it for free.
