the "trunk" shelf seems kind of flimsy; at least it
looked that way when the guy took the bag out
of the back and seemed to have trouble adjust-
ing the shelf. i always liked the one on the 9-3
hatch, where it was tethered to hatch, so it'd go
up with the door and vice versa. it required no
user intervention.

anyway, ...good video. i'm excited about the car.

Yeah I always turn the fog lights on in the daytime, and with just the parking lights on. The only other car I like seeing with that frontal lit look is the A4/S4 ;oops:

Yes, he likes it very much and he belives this can be the car saving Saab.

The exhaust note sounds super, and yeah it looked like it was pretty darn fast 1-2 gear. I believe he was also under slippery conditions (wet)?

9-3has manumatic shifting via steering wheel buttons is that right ? And the Aero Combi (and Aero SS, CVT) are supposed to have new intermediate 3.5 and 4.5 gears ? I recall reading that about the SportHatch but don't know if the gearings have carried into production 9-3s ?

Yes, but in some country (as in Norway) the "Sentronic remote control" is not standard.

The "old" 210hk Aero has the Sentronic+2 transmission with 3.5 and 4.5 gears. The new V6 gets a 6 speed transmission.

The ignition has been between the seats for years now on the 9-3 and 9-5... the last Saab with a steering column ignition was the 9000 (circa pre-1998).

ha, i know that is where is was supposed to be, but, i know that the 92x dosnt have it in the middle, and i tought maybe they moved it with all newer models as well.


so, all in all, glad to see it in the middle.
