I have a 2001 9-3 convertible. I have put in a new DI, changed the spark plugs, changed the air filter, changed the fuel filter, changed the boost pressure control valve, cleaned the MAF and the fuel cap. I had it to a Saab independent shop and they said it need a breather box upgrade which I did. They also said I have a small oil leak from the oil pressure switch which I didn't have fixed. They also checked the fuel pump and said it has good pressure

Overall the shop determined that runs very well. The lag is driving me crazy! I drive it to work and about 10-15 minutes at 70 mph and the turbo gauge bounces. This causes a the car to lose speed and recovers quickly.

It also does the same thing when I am cruising at 35-40 mph which I do in 4th or 5th gear. I have great acceleration and is fine if the rpm's are higher.

Does anyone have any other ideas?
