2005 9-3 Convertible,

I'm looking for the glass only for the driver's side mirror. Anyone have a good source for this? The dealer can't get anything, and all the glass shops in town can't either.

Any ideas?

I have a 2005 sedan/saloon. I got the mirror glass on the driver's/left side. 12795600 is the part number. I got a European spec aspheric mirror, which is a lot better. It is similar to U.S. mirrors except the far left edge is a little convex so it practically eliminates the blind spot on the left. The convertible mirror glass could be different. If the mirror is the same, PM me for further information.

Any ways his site is in English and his mirror price is 52 Euros or $73. This is the european "split" mirror .. if you open the first address there is a picture. You'll have to check more to confirm that it is the same piece for convertibles as sedans.

DavidMorgan is always lucky. Parked next to a Saab parts guru. Has come in contact with Presidents, royalty, celebrities.

The mirror snaps in place. If you can't see it with your current mirror, maybe the glass broke and the backing behind the glass needs to be carefully pried off.
