I have a 9-3 aero/vector 2003 and I bought after market wheels so I have no use for the original 17" rims. They are up for sale and a gentleman with a 9-5 asked if they would fit his car can anyone help me answer thins question the last thing I want to do is sell wheels to someone that don't fit the car.

Yes they do fit, but you just need to inform him of the et offset and the tyre sizes, if you are selling them with tyres ?

For example, the 9-5 aero has 17 x 7 inch wheels and et 49 offset and uses 225 x 45 x 17 tyres
I have fitted 17 x 7 wheels on my 9-5 aero with an et 35 and use 215 x 45 x 17 tyres on it, but once they wear out, i will go back to 225 tyres

The 215 tyres mean that i am only doing 98.6 mph at a speedo reading of 100 mph - no problem there and they may minusculely improve acceleration

I dont know what the et or tyre size of your 9-3 is, but the good thing is anything less than et49 will make the wheels sit out wider on the 9-5 , looks much better. People have said here that et40 is as far as you can go with the 225 tyres, but you may be able to go further.
