Dear All,

The title says it all. I have a 2006 9-3 aero convertible, and the convertible top comes very close to opening all the way, but doesn't close the last half inch. This wouldn't be a huge problem, except with the convertible not closing all the way the trunk won't open when the top is down. Please see the attached image!

I would very grateful if anyone has a lead on diagnosing the problem, and also the best way to fix this would be.

Use TECH2 and read values.

There are probably a couple things that could do it and you’re never going to know until you plug it in to a tech 2 at a dealer or if you buy a Chinese clone.

If I were to guess I’d say it’s probably related to the tonneau latching but even that could be a couple things. Could be either tonneau latch sensors or even a ram.
