I was just wondering if anyone out there with a stock 2.0T can share what their avg highway fuel efficiency is at around 120 km/h and at what rpm (in sixth) they are at when cruising at 120km/h

Since I've had my car tuned, lowered and had straight through muffler and open air intake added, I've noticed i get around 33-34 mpg ( 7.0-7.4l/ 100km) on average cruising at 120km/h at 2500RPM.

I never got a chance to baseline my car's untuned real world highway mpg, ( I know the epa lists it as 30mpg). This is a question just out of curiosity to see if there has been an appreciable gain in economy off boost etc.

Car is a 2008 2.0T, it rolls on 17'' twinspoke aeros on 235/45/r17 yokohama avid envigors.

Thanks guys

there are so many variables that you won't be able to get an accurate answer to your question.

tires, wheels, weight in the car, the weather, type of gas, the road surface, etc are all going to make a difference

I got 29+ mpg's going about 78-79 MPH the other day, stock with just an intake...as I understand it, that'll only get better once tuned

Just went to Cedar Point today in my wifes 2008 9-3. We got 33-34 mpg at 75-80 with the cruise on. Car is 100% stock with brand new Continental tires on it. I did not see my mpg drop from 75-80 and even a little higher.

Details please! And if done in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area, I presume), where did you have that done?

BTW: Getting (on avg -- mix city/highway...'sportily driven' :) ) 8.0 L/100 km on gf's '09 2009 2.0T 5 speed automatic w Maptun Stage 1, 15mm H&R spacers all round on stock 16 inch alloys with P6s (and having just passed 70,000 km).
