Hey everyone!

On my 1989 9000 CD Turbo my "ABS" and my "Brake Fluid" lights are always on. Any quick and easy checks I can do before sending it to my specialist? Brake fluid is nice and full, pedal feels good. Haven't tested a panic stop yet.

Check ABS fuse box fuses and relays.
You also might have bad diode in ABS fuse box.

And what about the quality of the brake fluid, it does become degraded with moisture, probably not your issue though.

Does the 89 have a reservoir float switch in it? Could be that.

I did nothing at all, maybe it's haunted!!

I will definitely keep an eye on it, I do wanna flush and bleed the brakes so I'll put some fresh DOT4 in.

Looking at the parts diagram there is only a brake booster pressure sensor. Could be an air pocket, bad sensor, loose connector or bad ground.
